INFINITY EYES (RECALIBRATING)

eyes hold multiple infinities.

landscapes hold multiple infinities.

eyes hold multiple lived experiences.

landscapes hold multiple lived experiences.

while i’ve been here in Asturias

i’ve looked into a lot of eyes and seen a lot of infinities.

this is a piece about looking deeply, very deeply,

into someone’s eyes—a person, a landscape.

infinity eyes (recalibrating) is a short work for quintet, composed as an encore as part of my Resident Composer position at Festival ADAR over the course of three days in Asturias, Spain, in August 2026.

There are two arrangements of infinity eyes (recalibrating) for different instrumentations:

• flute, clarinet, violin, cello, piano

• flute, violin, viola, cello, piano

Please contact me if you're interested in either of these arrangements, or an arrangement of this work for another instrumentation.
