mushmoss collective creates multi-disciplinary, interactive music theatre between composition, text, play and immersion, set in imagined worlds to collaborate on and consider our connectedness. The spaces mushmoss collective create encourage a fluid interaction between audience and performer, where performance and play coexist as one, and where music, sound, movement, and visuals coalesce.

mushmoss collective was born out of contemporary theatre and new writing organisation Distracted Rat in 2022, and the collective consists of playwright and theatre-maker Ariella Como Stoian, composer Zygmund de Somogyi, and director Susie MacDonald.
